The notch has been one of the fastest growing trends. But how did all this all started. It started when Apple came with there flagship iPhone X .
And we know whatever Apple does becomes a trends.
But why did Apple came with the notch. Actually the trends was to make as much bezel less display as possible. And Apple with this design as it was completely bezel less but what do with some essentials like earpiece , front camera and other sensors all those came under the notch.
And the main focus in every mobile making company is to remove the bezels as much as they Android's job is not to provide Apple at cheaper rate and not only budget companies like Asus, vivo , oppo.
 The notch has been so much trending that even Android apps are building to get the notch but why do you even need to this. And companies for there to model are deciding to go for the notch and that to companies like lg ,OnePlus and so on.
Now you must also be wondering that even though , for making there smartphones bezel less they have got the notch but at the bottom they is always a chin. And that's not the case with Apple and the simple reason for that is because that have invested more in the r & d department to remove the chin and if companies do that then the budget will increase.

My opinions
When it comes to my opinions the notch is completely disgusting as it looks like it's a mistake in the design. It comes as an interference while watching content and people say that with the speed of time the much becomes usual to the eyes, but that's not the case with me. And anyday i will prefer a bezel instead of a notch, tell me what you think about this topic.
